Boating

Paradise in Montana is Boating on Flathead Lake

When boating on Flathead Lake, it is hard to believe this is a populated area when you motor out a few yards from the shore.  As popular as this area is for tourists, one seldom sees many boats on the Flathead… but please don’t tell anyone.  We like it just the way it is!

Flathead Lake Boating

This picture is facing North from outside Somers Bay where there is a public boat launch, vehicle and trailer parking and public restrooms.  To the north is the mouth of the Flathead river where it empties into the lake.  Due east is Bigfork and south heads to Polson.  Which ever direction you choose, you can rest assured that some of the finest inland boating in America awaits you. As you prepare your boat for a day on the lake, I highly recommend that you check out our sponsor, get huge Savings at Basspro.com for brand name products at significant savings!  That’s where I shop..
