Glacier National Park is a “must see”! One trip to Glacier and you will know why they call Montana “The Last Best Place”.
Glacier National Park of Canada – our friends across the border share Glacier Park with the U.S. and call it Waterton Lakes National Park. Actually, Canada has another park called “Glacier”, but it is not contiguous with the U.S. park.
Winter or Summer attractions
Whitefish Ski Resort is known for terrific grooming with fall-line runs that stretch from the mountain’s summit to the base. The layout of the mountain is particularly good for skiing or riding together with family or groups of friends that are at varying ability levels. Skiing Big Mountain has been compared to Steamboat.
Blacktail Mountain ski resort a three-story lodge, located at the top of the mountain, offers all the amenities to make your day of skiing most enjoyable. If you have a season pass at most any other Montana ski area you receive a day ticket at Blacktail Mountain for our half day rate!
Flathead Lake Brewing Company – Brewery and Tasting Room now open 7 days a week! Located on Flathead Lake in Woods Bay (south of Bigfork).

Uniquely Flathead
Cherries! You will find cherry orchards on both sides of Flathead Lake. The Flathead is famous for our cherries and during the season, you’ll find roadside stands selling cherries on Rt. 93. One such orchard is, The Orchard at Flathead Lake.
